Driving to the port for your cruise? We can arrange for you to stay in a hotel prior to your cruise and in many cases, park your car for free and be transported to and from the cruise terminal, thus avoiding the high cost of parking your car at the terminal.

Flying in for your cruise? Many hotels we deal with offer free shuttle to and from the airport and then for a nominal fee, transportation to and from the hotel to the cruise port.

The last weekend in November my son Brett and I sailed on the new megaship the Oasis of the seas. What a ship!! At 220,000 tons the cruise lines are now building the large ships as a destination instead of transportation.  Our experience was more like going to a theme park than a cruise ship.  It was very large, holding over 6,000 passengers and a crew of 2,500.  The technical innovations are remarkable.  The first item that attracted my attention was the electronic display at the end of the hallway near the elevators on each floor that will let you know a number of things such as where your room is located, where the restaurants are, if they are crowded or not and how to get there from where you are.

  It will show you the items going on while on the ship, when they are in operation and how to get to them.   For the kids, there is a great kids area with the latest games to keep them entertained.

There are different entertainment venues that you must sign up for in advance.  They scan your room card to insure you have a reservation when entering the event.  The various specialty restaurants get filled up fast so you need to reserve them in advance also.  With 6,000 on board, you have to think ahead to get what you want, but you can do it.
